GO VOTE

ROLE: ART DIRECTION • DESIGN • ANIMATION

How many times have we all heard when it comes to voting, that one vote surely won’t make a difference? Or when someone tells you that their vote doesn’t matter? How about 10,704 times in the 2016 Presidential Election. When you break that down, that’s 2 VOTES per precinct. Still think your vote doesn’t matter?

This project hit the feel good level for me. I had an incredible opportunity to work on something that I deeply care about and collaborate with an awesome studio that felt the same.

What I love the most about collage/mixed media, is the style itself pushes you to take more chances on your design decisions. You truly grow within the style. It forces you to be confident about your decisions but also to have fun with it. My challenge for this project was choosing how to convey a very strong, impactful message with as little assets as possible. When to trust negative space & when to use typography vs imagery. Overall, had an awesome experience. This version is the extended cut.

A HUGE thank you to Zara Creative for the awesome opportunity & collaboration.
